Does S&S have a showroom near me?
+No. We an Australian online business with a warehouse in North-West Sydney. If you need more info, photos etc, please ask. We won't let you down.
Can I adjust the suspension?
+We can provide most Murano styles with either a chain or rod suspension to cater for your ceiling type and height.
What if glass is damaged in transit or in the future?
+We insured all deliveries, so any damage will be resolved by SMITH&SMITH free-of-charge. Further, we include spare glass pieces just in case there is future damage.
What bulbs are used and are Murano lamps dimmable?
+All lighting from SMITH&SMITH complies to Australia/Syandards only. We don't sell into overseas markets. Most styles uses E14 holders, a very popular bulb size in Australia. You can determine how bright, how warm and whether the lamp can be dimmed, purely by your personal choice of bulb.
Can I design my own size murano lamp?
+In short, yes. Contact us today.
Do you have samples of all glass styles and available colours?
+No. We have loads of photos, but it is not feasible for us to stock samples for every variation we offer in our Murano Collection. For some larger trade projects where sign off might be required pre ordering, we may be able to facilitate samples subject to available time.
Where is lighting made?
+Almost every lamp in the world is made in China. Even those lamps assembled in other countries, almost exclusively will use parts (e.g. lamp holders, wiring, plugs, drivers) which are made in in China.
What metal finishes are available?
+Most commonly, we produce in brass and polished nickel. We can however produce in other finishes, and can customise finishes for large projects.
