We are based in Sydney, with a warehouse in the Hills district, and a new studio opening in Sydney in August 2026.

Over 80% of our business in 2025 was working with our trade customers on projects large and small, but we also help hundreds of Customers per year choosing the perfect lighting for their own home.

FAQ's

Does SMITH&SMITH have a showroom?

We have a new studio coming to Sydney in August! If you live outside of Sydney, get in touch to ask for samples, photos or video of products you might be interested in. We're available days. Email us now for a same day reply.

Do you ship to NZ / overseas?

We ship to NZ daily. For other locations, it depends on the product/s chosen. Whatever your location, please get in contact with us today for a same day reply and/or quote. We won't waste your valuable time.

Can I chat to a real person?

Do you offer in-home consults?

Yes, we offer in-home consults in the Greater Sydney area. These do not come with any pressure to buy lighting from us. Get in touch today to schedule a visit with Erika.

What happens if lighting is damaged in transit?

No need to worry. We insure all shipments and will replace any items in the vaery rare instance of damage in transit.

How can I be sure of the product quality?

This is a question we get from many first-time Customers. We don't have stores around Australia but we can provide extra information, photos, finish samples, specification clarification - whatever you need, we can assist you making a decision about our product quality. We also recommend reading our Google Reviews, as these contain hundreds of reviews from real Customers who have purchased from us and vouch for their experience.

Where do SMITH&SMITH products come from?

Over 90% of the world's lighting comes from Southern China. Even products which are assembled or part-made in other countries, will almost always use electrical parts and components made in China.

We've been making most of our styles in China now since 2017, and have an exceptional level of product quality supported by our high quality assurance process.

We also collate a small number of items from other Australian Importers, with most their styles manufactured in China, or a few select items from India and Egypt.

SMITH&SMITH does not sell its products via any lighting stores, only from www.smithandsmithlighting.com.au.

What if I change my mind?

Many items have a no-questions returns policy allowing you to return the lamp (at your cost) within 7 days. Made-to-order lighting, custom lighting, project lighting or any lighting marked 'clearance' do not qualify for our no-questions returns policy. What warranty is provided by SMITH&SMITH?
